Shivaun Hoad is a Canadian writer of comics, zines, and short stories that range from speculative fiction to incredibly awkward reality. She grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, surrounded by shelves of books. She now lives in Toronto, surrounded by piles of books. In the meantime, she’s learned how to keep bees, do math in binary, search microfiche, write a comic script, and hang by her ankles.
